Disgaea is possibly one of the most maniacal, off the wall games I've played, and that's saying alot xD Basically, you play the character of Laharl Krichevskoy, the prince of the Netherworld who has been asleep for several years in which his father, the king, died. He wakes up to see his father's loyal vassal Etna, who is also in charge of the prinny squadron (My avvie minus the mario xD ). In their battle to take back the throne, they come across an Angel named Flonne, and that's when the game, in my opinion, really starts.

It's a pretty wacky game mostly because of all the nonsense you can pull off in it, game-play-wise. Imagine levelling up to 9999 and still not being nearly powerful enough to take on some of the enemies in the game. Then drop yourself back to lvl 1 and keep your stats, then lvl up to 9999 again and still be challenged. The damage that can be done goes so high up that the game basically says "NO! D:<" and puts up 20xx.

Very fun game to play, currently is on the PsP and a few copies remain for the playstation 2.
